When you see the word “Robotics”, the first thing that will come to your mind is definitely a ROBOT. In connection with its meaning, it is a branch of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots. That was actually according to Wikipedia, but for the team, Robotics is not just about designing a robot but also it has something to do with logic, decision making, dealing with other people and most especially teamwork.
DECISION MAKING is very important since the team’s task is to decide what would be the perfect team name. It was a challenge accepted by everyone. A lot of suggestions were given. For the team name to be accepted, it must be something that is science-related. Others said that “Invictus” was a cool name but unfortunately it is not a science-related term.
So, the team pushed through the name “Antimatter”. Antimatter opposes Matter but it produces a mutual inhalation. It’s not ordinary, just like the team. The team came to oppose other teams but all of the teams have a mutual goal, and it is to win.
