RCX is the first set that Lego has given to build a robot using Lego bits. Even if it is the oldest among the three (RCX, NXT, EV3), you will not be disappointed with its abilities even though the materials are limited. Here are some steps and tips of you to appreciate RCX.
Step 1; familiarize yourself with the RCX thought, RCX materials and other RCX things. Embrace the RCX feels! Yes, you are new to this but embrace immediately the RCX feels! Once you got the background of RCX and you already familiarized yourself with it, time to go to step 2!
Step 2, start building things! It’s Lego guys, it’s fun to build new stuff! RCX provides you a manual that gives you a step by step process on how to build a particular design of RCX. Though having a manual, you can also have your own design! Be creative, be innovative then apply it to your robot! But don’t forget to program codes!
Step 3, enjoy the RCX feels! RCX is the fastest when it comes to racing (Yes, compared to EV3 and NXT, RCX is the fastest). RCX will surely win when it comes to racing, so you could challenge everything to race! You will surely win (Don’t forget your batteries though!)
In order to appreciate RCX, embrace the RCX feels! And be proud to say that you have what it takes to embrace the RCX feels!
